-Qualified for 16 consecutive CIS National Championships.
-Won five National Championships (1990, ’91, ’92, ’01, ’02), three silver medals (1987, ’98, 2000), four bronze medals, (1993, ’94, ’95, ’99), one fourth place finish (1997), and three fifth place finishes (1988, ’89, ’96).
-Won his first National Club Championship with the Prairie Blue Senior ‘AA’ team 1984.
-Won six more National Club Championships from the 16 yr to 20 yr old age classes.
-Gold medal at the 1987 Canada Games in Sydney, N.S.
-Won Canada West Coach of the Year honours in back-to-back seasons of 2006-07 and 2007-08
-Selected CIS Coach of the Year in 1991-92 and 2006-07 season
-Honoured with a University of Manitoba's annual Outreach Award in 2009.
-Assistant coach with the Women’s National Team on several occasions over the past twenty years
-Named National Team assistant coach for the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta.
-Overall win/loss record with University of Manitoba stands at 887 wins and 294 losses.
